DCC - DC SOUND DECODERS, COMPONENTS AND ACCESSORIES
ESU LokSound, Massoth, Phoenix Sound, Soundtraxx Tsunami2, Marklin, LGB, and MD-Electronics
Note: Most DCC Sound Decoders will also operate in DC Analog power providing the locomotive's operating sounds, and whistle, horn and bell sounds using track magnets positioned on the track ties. But only using a DCC Operating System such as the ESU Wireless CabControl DCC System will provide the full access to all the sound decoder's individual sounds shown on the Sound File's F Key Listing, and turning on and off the locomotive's lights and smoke unit. With a DCC operating system, you can run multiple locomotives simultaneous all on the same track layout, and activate track switches with your wireless throttle. Most LGB locomotives currently produced by Marklin Germany have factory-installed Sound Decoders that allow operation in both DC and DCC power.

ACCESSORIES FOR PHOENIX PB22 SOUND BOARD
Reed Switch Sensor used to generate chuff sounds and activate the whistle, horn and bell on the PB22 board using magnets. One sensor is required to be installed on your locomotive, or on an LGB Mogul's tender front truck, for the chuff function. Two sensors are required to be installed for activating the whistle and bell when the sensors cross over a magnet fitted on your track ties.
PS7000-23. Rechargeable Batter for PB22 Sound Boards. 3.7 Volts Lithium Ion, Single Cell, 300 mAh, JST PH Connector. This battery is used only with the PB22 board, none of the older Phoenix Sound Boards.
Note I also carry rechargeable batteries for the older Phonenix sound boards such as PB11 and PB17.
P6000-05. Data Programming Jack and 3-wire Cable for use with the Computer Interface Program for Connecting to the BB22 sound boards.
P6000-02. Toggle Volume Switch with 3-wire cable for use with PB22 sound boards.
P1200-00. Phoenix Sound Computer Interface Kit for Windows. Easy to Use: The CD has the Phoenix software program to install on your Windows PC. When your PC is connected to an Phoenix Sound Decoder using the supplied USB Cable, you can install the sound files from the CD to any Phoenix model sound board such as the newest PB22 board, or any of the other sound boards produced by Phoenix. It contains both the sound files for the new PB22 board and the other sound files for older Phoneix boards. The Phoneix program also allows you to adjust all the sound parameters on a board such as the overall volume and volume level of individual sounds, turn individual sounds off or on such as coal shoveling, and adjust the various automatic sounds such as steam release, coupler clank, dynamo, steam hiss, and their duration, and the piston chuff rate, and the whistle, horn and bell sounds.......very extensive adjustment features.
Watch the below two videos to hear the many automatic sounds that these Phoenix PB22 Sound Boards produce for steam locomotives when operating in DC Analog track power...........excellent features!
In this video, I loaded the Mikado K-28 Steam Locomotive Sound File K473-R1 specified for the new PB22 boards, and then adjusted the various sound paramenters using the Phoenix Computer Interface Program for Windows. When you purchase the Phoenix Computer Interface Kit, I will provide technical support with the installation on your Windows PC, the connections to your PB22 board, and then using the program to install a sound file and making the adjustments to the sound file's features.
There is an alternative to installing on your locomotive or tender the 2-wire reed sensors listed above for generating the chuff sounds and whistle and bell activation. For generating the chuff sounds, you can use the existing factory-installed Chuff Sensor/Hall Sensor installed your locomotive, or you can install one listed for sale on my Website. For the whistle, horn and bell activation, you can use the existing factory-installed Reed Switch Sensor installed in your locomotive, or you can install one listed for sale on my Website. Contact me for instructions on how to connect these devices to the Phoenix PB22 sound board.
Watch the above video for a demonstration using these two devices connected to a PB22 sound board.
