DCC - DC SOUND DECODERS, COMPONENTS & ACCESSORIES
ESU LokSound, Massoth, Phoenix Sound, Soundtraxx Tsunami2, Marklin, LGB, and MD-Electronics

Most DCC Sound Decoders will also operate in DC Analog power providing the locomotive's operating sounds, and whistle, horn and bell sounds using track magnets positioned on the track ties.  But only using a DCC Operating System such as the ESU Wireless CabControl DCC System will provide the full access to all the sound decoder's individual sounds shown on the Sound File's F Key Listing, and turning on and off the locomotive's lights and smoke unit.  With a DCC operating system, you can run multiple locomotives simultaneous all on the same track layout, and activate track switches with your wireless throttle.  Most LGB locomotives currently produced by Marklin Germany have factory-installed Sound Decoders that allow operation in both DC and DCC power.
