The LGB 20180 was produced by LGB in 2016 and is a model of a Lenz Class I for the German State Railroad (East Germany). The model is prototypically painted and lettered for Era III. It has a powerful Buhler motor driving both wheel sets, one with a Traction tire. The locomotive has a 28-Pin DCC interface connector for converting the locomotive to mfx/dcc/dc sound. It has directional front and rear lights, cab lights, and an operating smoke generator. The cab doors can be opened, and the locomotive has sprung buffers.Length over the buffers 25 cm / 9-7/8".
Sound Conversion: A Massoth XLS-M1 DCC/DC sound decoder can be installed into this locomotive's 28-Pin DCC Decoder Interface which is located inside the cab roof......you only need to remove the four small screws to remove the cab roof. A small speaker can be installed inside the cab or the small compartment behind the motor block.
